style=\"color: #000000;\">Non inizieremo qui col parlare di un luogo antico ma di un edificio attuale, ossia della Stazione Ferroviaria di Albisola.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Essa si trova in Piazza Giulio II, esattamente di fronte all\u2019area archeologica della <em><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/albadocilia.cultura.gov.it\/?page_id=1249#villa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">villa<\/a>:<\/em> chi scende dal treno ed esce dalla stazione, nell\u2019attraversare il piazzale, oggi adibito a parcheggio, cammina in uno spazio che in epoca romana, costituiva la <em>pars rustica <\/em>della nostra <em><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/albadocilia.cultura.gov.it\/?page_id=1249#villa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>villa<\/u><\/a>. <\/em><\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ma torniamo ai giorni nostri.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-21fb9ee\" data-id=\"21fb9ee\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">E\u2019 stato a partire dal 1957, durante i lavori di costruzione della nuova stazione che cominciarono ad emergere le strutture di tutto questo settore della <a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/albadocilia.cultura.gov.it\/?page_id=1249#villa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>villa<\/em><\/a>: inizi\u00f2 cos\u00ec la lunga campagna di scavo archeologico (per saperne di pi\u00f9 vai al contenuto speciale <a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/albadocilia.cultura.gov.it\/?page_id=4579\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cla storia degli scavi ma non solo\u201d<\/a>) che permise di porre in luce un vasto edificio quadrangolare dotato di un\u2019area centrale a cielo aperto di dimensioni notevoli (circa 50 metri di lato).<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section costruzione della stazione e della piazza; anche se le murature furono ricoperte, non rimasero del tutto celate: una parte di esse, il lato est del grande edificio, \u00e8 visibile sotto il porticato di propriet\u00e0 delle Ferrovie e il tracciato di gran parte dei lati ovest e sud \u00e8 evidenziato, in piazza e in via Sisto IV, dalla presenza di apposite lastre di travertino.<br \/>Il lato nord \u00e8 esattamente sotto l\u2019edificio di ingresso ai binari. Il termine <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/albadocilia.cultura.gov.it\/?page_id=1249#pars-rustica\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>pars rustica<\/em> <\/a><\/span>\u00e8 in uso in archeologia per indicare l\u2019insieme di ambienti e strutture di sevizio, pressoch\u00e9 privi di apparati decorativi, finalizzati alla gestione di attivit\u00e0 produttive.<br \/>In questa zona della <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/albadocilia.cultura.gov.it\/?page_id=1249#villa\"><em><u>villa<\/u><\/em><\/a><\/span> per\u00f2 quasi certamente non erano presenti solo impianti produttivi ma anche botteghe, empori, alloggi servili e zone di ricovero per gli animali, affacciati sull\u2019esteso cortile centrale che fungeva anche da luogo di mercato e di accesso per chi arrivava a cavallo.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-967cb2b\" data-id=\"967cb2b\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c81df7a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c81df7a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In particolare si ipotizza che le strutture individuate a nord-est, fossero pertinenti a vasche e canalette di un impianto per la lavorazione di materie prime provenienti dai campi coltivati collegati alla<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> <a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/albadocilia.cultura.gov.it\/?page_id=1249#villa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em><u>villa<\/u><\/em><\/a><\/span> e per la produzione di derrate alimentari. Per quanto riguarda le attivit\u00e0 commerciali, durante gli scavi, sia in questa zona, sia nel resto dell\u2019area, sono stati rinvenuti molti reperti, di cui non sempre si conosce il contesto preciso di rinvenimento (per saperne di pi\u00f9, vai al contenuto speciale <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/albadocilia.cultura.gov.it\/?page_id=4579\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>\u201cLa storia degli scavi ma non solo\u201d<\/u><\/a><\/span>), tra cui anche monete e frammenti di anfore. Africa, molto probabilemte proveniente dai territori dell&#8217;odierna Tunisia.\u00a0 A partire dal II secolo dopo Cristo queste zone assunsero una enorme importanza nell&#8217;ambito dei commerci in tutto il Mediterraneo, non solo come punto di partenza per la diffusione di merci ma anche per la produzione di contenitori per il loro trasporto. Il frammento che vi mostriamo appartenneva ad un&#8217;anfora molto diffusa destinata al trasporto del <a style=\"color: #ffffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/albadocilia.cultura.gov.it\/?page_id=1249#garum\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>garum<\/em><\/a>, la salsa di pesce apprezzata in tutto l&#8217;impero
